Tanks, bins and mixers are widely used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and chemical industries, for product storage, transfer and mixing. They come in various shapes and sizes and their parts are mostly constructed of stainless steel: AISI 316L stainless steel for parts that come into contact with the final product and AISI 304 stainless steel for other external parts or parts that do not come into contact with the product.
The cleaning of this equipment is an extremely important process in pharmaceutical production, making it essential to validate it to ensure the quality of the products manufactured.
To help with the challenge of validating the cleanliness of tanks, bins and mixers, we have prepared a case study. In this case study, we share with you the tests carried out at the pharmaceutical company Cipla, in New York, with the M-Line Mobile High Pressure Washer from IWT Pharma.
