First year of STEQ’s social project is a success

STEQ has always been privileged to have a team of employees motivated to contribute to social causes. For this reason, solidarity actions have always existed in the company through individual and sporadic initiatives, especially with fundraising campaigns for Christmas. Over the years, these campaigns have intensified and involved more and more employees, until a time came when the need arose to do something bigger and with even more commitment. This is how STEQ Solidária came about. Since its inception in 2019, STEQ Solidária has been driven by good people willing to help others, thus contributing to a better society. Throughout the first year of the STEQ Solidarity project, we carried out campaigns that filled us with satisfaction and joy. Check out some of them below:
- Warming hearts: collection of more than 700 items of winter clothing that were donated to the Meninos de São Judas Tadeu Institute.
- Love runs through my veins: blood donation from STEQ employees to the Beneficência Portuguesa hospital.
- I plant a tree for our future: STEQ delivered an Ipê seedling for each of its employees to plant.
- Solidarity T-shirts: employees donated personal hygiene and cleaning kits and received beautiful T-shirts from the STEQ Solidarity project. The donation of the items was delivered to the Lar das Mãezinhas.
- Make a child happy: Children’s Day action with the collection of toys that were delivered by employees to the PAC (Children’s Friends Project).
- Solidarity bingo: the “ticket” for STEQ employees to participate in bingo was the donation of one or more Christmas baskets. More than 70 baskets were collected, which were donated to the social project of the Santa Rita de Cássia Church.
