The purpose of carrying out the “Training Course in Laboratory Animal Science” is to promote more knowledge about the universe of experimental animals, their needs and why they are used in research, so that we can increasingly be aligned with the needs of researchers and users.

In addition to offering the course to STEQ employees, we also extend it to our authorized companies, so that they can also optimize services and further expand their knowledge in this segment.

Some of the topics covered in the course were: Current view of laboratory animal science, Ethics in the use of animals and Brazilian legislation, Experimental animals: who they are and why we use them, Interference of equipment in welfare, Animal health and Biosafety.
