IV Symposium The Zebrafish as an Animal Research Model was a success!
From October 26 to 28, the IV Symposium on the Zebrafish as an Animal Research Model took place at UNESP, Botucatu Campus. The event, which was attended by speakers and experts from renowned research institutions in Brazil and abroad, addressed advances in the main themes of biology interconnected with institutional panels that were presented by researchers in different areas in which Zebrafish is used as an animal model.
Among the subjects addressed at the symposium were: Organogenesis, Genomics/Epigenomics, Toxicology, Evolution, Aquaculture, Cancer, Regeneration, Immunity and diseases, Neurobiology and Behavior, Ecotoxicology, Pharmacogenetics, Fish Farming, Nutrition and Emerging Technologies. Our partner and TECNIPLAST expert, Mr. Marco Brocca, gave the lecture Latest Innovations in Aquatic Solutions, which addressed the innovations and latest trends in the breeding and maintenance of Zebrafish. The event was a success and was attended by researchers and experts in the field, interested in improving their techniques and knowledge in this important research model, which gains strength every year.
