OUR HISTORY
STEQ’s success story is directly linked to its founder Luis Boaventura. Two years before creating STEQ, he ran the GETINGE office in Brazil. Working with initiative and seriousness, he was constantly consulted by his customers regarding other equipment. It didn’t take long for the need to add other equipment to the portfolio.
Over time, the creation of an independent company became inevitable and, then, in September 2001, in a 30m2 commercial room and only one employee, STEQ – short for Sterilization Equipment, was born.
STEQ was born inheriting a respectable client portfolio, which included names like Fundação Oswaldo Cruz, Pfizer, Bayer, GSK, among others. The objective has always been to maintain and, above all, to expand the relationship with these customers.
In addition, expanding this portfolio with the biggest names in the pharmaceutical industry has always been a great desire and, without a doubt, a challenge!
The organizational embryo of STEQ was then created: a sales structure strengthened by professional after-sales support.
Always in search of excellence, STEQ sought to add professionals who brought new ideas and who had the motivation to implement them.
Over the years, STEQ has become recognized by the pharmaceutical market for its commitment to the customer and has, as a result, come to be desired by the world’s leading manufacturers of pharmaceutical equipment.
